Girls Rock Dream Rally – 2019
Girls Rock Dream Rally Girls Rock Dream Rally is an annual interactive event founded by the late Kelly Farmer, Keonna Farmer mother (Girl Life Unlimited Founder), designed to uplift underserved girls ages 8–19 in the Birmingham community.
This event was born out of a critical need following the tragic shooting of a teen student in 2020—a moment that made it clear these girls needed a safe space and empowering outlets to express themselves, dream boldly, and build confidence.
Our Progress
The rally offers a vibrant day full of educational activities, games, giveaways, and entertainment designed to inspire and engage. Attendees hear powerful testimonies from professionals who cover essential topics such as health and wellness, personal development, and economic diversity. These sessions reinforce the message that each girl owns the rights to her dreams and can achieve anything she sets her mind to.
Since its inception, the Girls Rock Dream Rally has seen tremendous growth:
In its inaugural year, 30 girls attended
In 2019, attendance grew to over 150 girls
By 2020, the event welcomed 230 girls
